My recent stay at the Empire Court was an interesting experience that highlighted both the property's potential and shortcomings. While the accommodations offered clean rooms complete with essential amenities like air conditioning and flat-screen TVs, I found the lack of basic items-such as proper kitchenware and bathroom supplies-unsettling, especially for those accustomed to comfort after long days of exploration. The absence of a proper welcome and the delayed access caused us to wait outside, which was rather off-putting, especially given the colder winter weather. If you're merely seeking a place to lay your head before venturing to the nearby attractions, the property's location within 10 km of Kimberley and the added convenience of a paid airport shuttle may appeal to the more utilitarian traveler. All things considered, while the Empire Court possesses the potential for a pleasant stay, it currently feels more like a stopover than a home away from home, particularly for those of us who share the love of comfort during travels.
