The absence of a proper welcome and the delayed access caused us to wait outside, which was rather off-putting, especially given the colder winter weather. If you're merely seeking a place to lay your head before venturing to the nearby attractions, the property's location within 10 km of Kimberley and the added convenience of a paid airport shuttle may appeal to the more utilitarian traveler. All things considered, while the Empire Court possesses the potential for a pleasant stay, it currently feels more like a stopover than a home away from home, particularly for those of us who share the love of comfort during travels.
